The PMI Sydney Chapter Board has approved the establishment of "PMI Sydney Chapter Memorial Scholarships" dedicated to passed PMI Sydney Chapter members "Diana Thompson and Laurie Dunlop in the inaugural year".
PMI Sydney Chapter Memorial Scholarships may be awarded annually to "one or more undergraduate or post graduate student (s) undertaking studies in either project or risk management as determined by a Sydney Chapter Board scholarship subcommittee".
To be eligible for the scholarship(s), applicants must be:
- Persons who are legal residents of Australia who are
- Either undertaking or planning to undertake full or part time studies in a course which meets the criteria above at an officially recognised Australian tertiary education institution.
The current total amount of the Board approved funds available to be awarded for PMI Sydney Chapter Memorial scholarship(s) annually is $4,000.
Closing dates for award of Scholarships in 2007 is:
- 31st December 2006 with
- Scholarship award to the winner(s) to occur as soon as practicable after 30th March 2007.
