Voting Closed Results follow...

I'm pleased to advise that further to our invitation to vote on the Phase 2 of the proposed By Law Amendments The Electronic Voting is now complete and amended By Laws have been passed.

Stats:   190 votes in favour, 4 votes against

This represents a 14% of Chapter participation rate. Thank you to all members that participated in the voting process.

Notice of Proposed Bylaw Amendment 

These changes have been approved by the Board and are designed to provide an update to the By Laws in order to:

  • Ensure compliance with the PMI Component Policy Manual and the standard PMI Component Bylaws template
  • Ensure compliance with the NSW Department of Fair Trading, Model Rules for Associations
  • Further refine the role of the Nominating Committee and to assist them in the conduct of their tasks (as requested by them flowing from “lessons learnt” from last years first electronic elections conducted by the Chapter)
  • Formalising the redefinition of the Vice President’s role to also include the duties of Chief Operations Officer thus releasing the President to focus more on strategic initiatives
  • Streamline the roles and responsibilities of various Directors
  • Include a number of minor miscellaneous enhancements
